Do you have information about what airlines expect during their simulator assessment?2020-05-28T14:45:25+00:00

Our instructor base is made up of people from many different airlines. This has enabled us to create a database of possible scenarios that you can encounter during a simulator grading. We will help you prepare for the screening for your specific airline!

The airline I have an interview for does the screening on a Boeing 737 simulator, does it help to come and practice on the Airbus sim at LVL320?2020-05-28T14:45:31+00:00

Absolutely! On airline interviews, the screeners are not interested in how well you know the airplane type. They want to see how you handle a jet and how well you know your basic IFR procedures. The Airbus A320 is a similar size aircraft with very similar speeds. Talk to us about tailored solutions!

I have an airline interview coming up in 1 week, can I still book a session?2020-05-28T14:45:35+00:00

All last-minute bookings are subject to simulator availability but we strive to accomodate last-minute requests if you have an interview lined up. E-mail us or phone us to learn more about the possibilities.

Do I need Airbus knowledge to do skillcare training?2020-05-28T14:45:39+00:00

No! All our training is designed to start with zero entry knowledge about the aircraft type. Before you will come for your training, you will get a briefing pack explaining the essentials about the A320 (speeds, pitch and power, tuning navaids, flight profiles etc) and we will take care of the rest. The idea is to keep up or increase your skills on a medium jet and have a refresher of basic IFR. If you have already flown Airbus, we can of course tailor the programs to focus on what you want to practise (ECAM, RNAV approaches…).

Can I learn the procedures at home, before coming to Antwerp?2020-05-28T14:45:49+00:00

Yes you can, you will receive access to the manuals and CBT’s 2 weeks before starting your first day of ground school.

Can I choose my own accommodation?2020-05-28T14:45:53+00:00

Yes you can, but bear in mind that in this case you will have to organize your own transport and that your accommodation costs are not covered in case of unforeseen (unlikely) delays in your training.

Can you organize accommodation?2020-05-28T14:45:57+00:00

We have special rates with a studio-appartment complex near the training centre. Prices are 60 euros per night for single-occupancy rooms and 30 euros per night for doubel-occupance rooms. Shuttles to and from the accomodation are complimentary. Should you have to stay longer due to (very unlikely) delays during your training, extra accomodation costs are on us.

How often do courses start?2020-05-28T14:46:01+00:00

Courses start on an “on-demand” base. We require a minimum of 2 crews to start an APS MCC course. When you contact us, advise us of your time frame and we will combine this with other requests for the same time frame.
